Whether you choose to showcase a Single Image, submit an Images Set, or propose a Solo Exhibition, this is your chance to present your work to a wider audience. Single Image
The "Single Image" Submission for the Greece Photo Festival allows artists to submit between 1 to 6 photographs for consideration by the festival curators. This process is intended for artists to showcase their work, and the submitted images will be reviewed for approval. Please note that only 1 photograph will be chosen from the submissions by our curators. Make sure to follow any specific guidelines or criteria provided by the festival for a successful submission.

Images Set
The "Images Set" submission for the Greece Photo Festival requires participants to send between 5 to 15 photographs. From these, the curators will select 5 photographs to be included in the festival. It’s important to adhere to any guidelines provided by the festival to ensure a successful submission.

Solo Exhibitions and Clubs
For "Solo Exhibitions / Clubs" at the Greece Photo Festival, photography clubs or individual photographers interested in hosting a solo exhibition must contact the festival organizers via email. They should provide all necessary details regarding their proposal, including information about the exhibition concept, works to be displayed, and any other relevant information.

People, Portraits, Streets
Focus on the human experience in everyday life. This category welcomes submissions that feature portraits of individuals, candid street photography, and the interactions that occur in public spaces, highlighting diverse cultures and communities.
Festival, Celebrations
Celebrate the joy of life through photography of festivals and celebrations around the world. Photographers are encouraged to submit images that showcase the colors, emotions, and cultural significance of various events and traditions.
Architecture
Explore the art of building through architectural photography. This category invites photographers to showcase innovative designs, historical structures, and the interplay between architecture and its environment.
Seascape
Photographers are invited to explore the beauty of coastal environments. This category focuses on images that capture the serenity and power of the sea, including beaches, waves, and coastal landscapes.
Underwater
Dive into the underwater world with captivating photographs that reveal marine life, coral reefs, and the beauty of aquatic environments. This category celebrates the hidden wonders beneath the surface.
Food and Leisure
Capture the essence of culinary experiences and leisure activities. Submissions can include images of food preparation, dining experiences, and moments of relaxation that reflect cultural practices related to food and leisure.
Women in World Cultures
Highlight the role and representation of women across different cultures through photography. Submissions should focus on women’s experiences, contributions, and stories from various backgrounds around the globe.
Climate, Water
This category addresses pressing environmental issues related to climate change and water resources. Photographers are encouraged to submit images that raise awareness about these challenges and showcase their impact on communities and ecosystems.


TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHY
IMAGE SPECIFICATIONS
Make sure your photographs of traveling adhere to the following guidelines:

Originality: Your photos must be your own work and cannot come from stock photo collections.

Device Flexibility: You can use any device, including smartphones, to capture stunning travel images.

Ownership: Ensure you own the rights to the photos you submit, or you have explicit permission to represent them on behalf of the photographer.

File Format and Quality: All images must be in JPG or JPEG format with a quality level of at least 90%.

Image Size and File Limits: Resize your photos to 1000 pixels on the longest side, and ensure each file is under 1MB.

Editing Guidelines: Basic edits such as adjusting contrast, exposure, and removing dust spots are allowed.

Copyright: The copyrights of the photography belong strictly to the participating artist.

SUBMISSION FORM
Photographers worldwide are invited to submit their work to the Greece Photo Festival International. The submission process offers four distinct categories.
**Important Note: Submission is free, and payment will only be required upon selection of the photographer's work

(single image): participate with 1 Single Image
Send us up to 6 Photographs to choose 1 photo for your Participation.
Cost: €70 + 24% VAT (€86.80 in total).

(images set): participate with a set of 5 Photographs
Send us up to 15 Photographs to choose 5 photos for your Participation.
Cost: €250 + 24% VAT (€310 in total).

(Solo Exhibition): participate with a set of 30-50 photographs
Artists interested in presenting a solo exhibition should contact the organizers directly for detailed information by emailing greecephotofestival@gmail.com.

Club and Group Submissions:
Photography clubs can also participate by reaching out via the same email for further guidance.

A Journey Through Time
The D. Nomikos Industrial Tomato Museum in Santorini
In the heart of the Aegean, on the enchanting island of Santorini, lies a hidden
treasure waiting to be discovered. It is the Industrial Tomato Museum D. Nomikos,
which you will recognize from afar as its characteristic chimney stands imposingly
over the beach of Vlychada. The museum's premises are an authentic piece of the
island, taking visitors on a journey through time to reveal the decisive role that the
Santorini cherry tomato and its processing played in the island's history.
